Submit your Conference Session Presentation

Conference session presentations are an excellent opportunity for higher education and organizational leaders to provide subject matter expertise, share research, and elicit further insight. The Academy is committed to providing sessions that advance academic and administrative leadership; they are learner-centered, relevant and practical, actively involving participants through discussions, activities and reflections.

We invite you to submit your session presentation proposal(s) for our 28th Annual International Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. 

• Presentations are scheduled for 75-minutes
• Include 10-50 participants
• Internet access will be available in all session rooms
• Basic AV equipment and supplies ~ LCD projector, screen, flip chart & paper and markers
• The Chair Academy DOES NOT provide laptops or adapters to presenters

The criteria for design and delivery of session presentations should include:

• Active engagement of session participants
• Meaningful/applicable content that focus on higher education and organizational leaders
• Develops and enhance skill sets required for effective leadership
• Maximizes opportunities for interaction, networking and community building 

When submitting a proposal(s), please include the following:

  • • Session Title
  • • Presenter's Information
  • • Summary of Session (Maximum 100 words)
  • • Tag Lines (from the list below)

    Sessions are NOT to promote publications or other materials that involve endorsing consulting services or recommending commercial ventures. All presentations are voluntary.

A soft deadline for presentation proposal(s) is December 15, 2018, allowing the Academy Team to review and accept presentations.

Session Presenters are invited and encouraged to submit an article inspired by their presentation. In doing so, presenters grant permission to the Chair Academy for publication of Session Paper(s) to the Academy’s Blog, What About Leadership. Submit articles as a Word Document to leadership@chairacademy.com by April 1, 2019.

Session Presenters also acknowledge and permit their photos to be taken during session presentations, for use in conference marketing.


By submitting a proposal, presenters agree to the conditions of acceptance.

Presenters will be notified of proposal acceptance no later than February 1, 2019

Please Note: All presenters must register and pay for conference at the Conference Presenter Rate. If the presenter will only be in attendance on the day of the presentation, a one-day rate is required

By submitting a proposal, presenters agree to the conditions of acceptance.

Acceptance

Presenters are notified of proposal acceptance by February 1, 2019.

Audio-Visual Requests

Presenters of concurrent sessions will be provided with the standard audio visual set up:

• 1 LCD Projector (15 pin VGA adapter required) and Projection Screen

• 1 Set of speakers

• Internet

• 1 Flip Chart Stand/Pad

• Markers, Pens, and Tape

• The Chair Academy DOES NOT provide Laptops to presenters.

• Apple/PC/laptop/tablet users, please supply your own projector adapter.

As the primary contact person for the concurrent conference session, I hereby authorize the Chair Academy to upload, to their website, the Session Paper, that I, or my team, will be submitting.
