Opening General Session

The Opening General Session begins Wednesday, April 8th, at 7:00am with a continental break-
fast served in the Grand Ballroom A. At 8:00am, in the Grand Ballroom, Master of ceremonies,
Steve Olson opens the session, followed by our opening Keynote Speaker, Joel Barker who will
discuss Leadership Tips for the 21st Century: A Short Look at the Next 30 Years and 10
Guidelines to Introduce New Ideas to People Who Don’t Want Them. We will close the session
by honoring our Paul A. Elsner International leadership Award honorees Bruce Barker and
debbie Nellis.
The Chair Academy’s 24th Annual International Leadership Conference

Second General Session

The Second General Session begins Wednesday, April 8th, at 3:30pm. Our second feature
Keynote Speaker, Julie Straw, will discuss The Work of Leaders: How Vision, Alignment, and
Execution Will Change the Way You Lead. We will close the session by honoring our 2015
Idahlynn Karre Exemplary leadership Award recipients.
Immediately following the General Session, you are invited to join us at our annual Welcome and
Networking Reception, in the Grand Ballroom Foyer, from 5:00pm - 6:30pm.

Third General Session

The Third General Session begins Thursday, April 9th, at 7:00am with a continental breakfast
served in the Grand Ballroom A. At 8:00am, in the Grand Ballroom, our featured Keynote Speaker,
Ramez Naam, will discuss The Infnite Resource. We will close the session by recognizing our
gary Filan Excellence in leadership Award recipients, and the chair Academy director’s
Award recipient.

Fourth General Session

The Fourth General Session will be a lunch session. Beginning at 12:00pm on Thursday, April
9th, a plated lunch will be served in the Grand Ballroom. This luncheon will feature humorist, Frank
King, who will share his comedic insights about What You Got in Trouble for in High School, is
What You are Getting Paid for Now. We will close the General Session by recognizing our
conference Sponsors.

Closing General Session

The Closing General Session begins Friday, April 10th at 9:00am with a full buffet breakfast
served in the Grand Ballroom. Our closing Keynote Speaker, Matt Reed, will tie the Conference
together in his keynote address: Higher Education When Information is Free.
